Retailers often inflate a 'was' price shortly before a sale so the reduction looks larger. Because we hold a full year of verified prices, we compare the claimed original against what the product genuinely sold for, and flag the listing when the two disagree.

On supported retailers, yes. You set a target price and a spending cap, and when the price is hit we complete the checkout on your behalf using a virtual card scoped to that single purchase.
